The Brightness That You Bear

New Year Blessings!
I’m happy to have you with me as we meditate and pray with the Scripture today. May God’s mystery of grace abide with you right now. As H.A. Williams puts it, “The more God gives me his grace…, the more I am myself.” Receive that grace. Become more you.
Deepest Peace, Deepest Joy,
Todd

  1. The NRSV says, “This is my son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.” I heard in the Message that you read, “marked by my Love” instead of ‘the beloved,’ which gave a very different image to meditate on. Thank you for your ministry.

    1. Isn’t it cool how reading varying translations of the Scripture brings newness? My go-to versions are NRSV and The Jerusalem Bible. But I stay with The Message here on the podcast most often because of its unique way of stirring a devotional spirit in me. Thanks for joining in, Sarah. See you next time!
