Your choice of readings to preface the scripture was perfectly apt for the moment I am in: winding down the final hours of a Long road trip in the glorious Pacific Northwest. while riding in the car I’ve been reviewing some of my photos of “small things”- little wonders like a fairy sipper orchid in a high mountain forest. The reading reminded me why those glimpses can affirm my faith in the Creator, the source of all life, often more than any sacred words. It is that authors notion that when we gaze with mindful child’s eyes, God is also seeing us
