Thanks for the reading today from Carmen Butcher’s translation of the “Cloud…”. I was attempting to plough through the original language version. Not a good plan! I’m attracted to Cloud after reading part of the Prologue each day in prayer. Also, the picture of the Milky Way reminds me of my Navy days seeing the Milky Way from the deck of a ship on a dark, dark night. It’s a sight to behold and only the seafarers get to see it.

  Yeah, I had the same kind of experience with a different version of the The Cloud years ago. I find Butcher’s to be wonderful. Oh, the stars. Thank you for that image of you soaking in the Milky Way from the deck of a ship. My favorite places to see it is up in the mountains, far away from the cities. A camping trip near Westcliffe, CO is one place that comes to mind this morning. Thank you for writing. Does my heart good…
