  1. Welcome back Todd. May there be an essence of nard – in some form- to anoint and bless you and your family in the midst of these days. I appreciate this reflection, as I do all. A simple haiku emerged from my meditation:
    Fragrance fills the space
    Shall I anoint or grab hold?
    Nard spreads across skin

    I created a sculpture on the related story in Luke 7:36-50. My thoughts went to the message of forgiveness at the heart of that scene … The invitation to forgive others and ourselves ; may I allow Gods forgiveness to cover over those darker choices I make in any moment.
