  1. There is a gradual unfolding of a new way of seeing Jesus, of knowing who he is. No one “gets it” all at once–not the beloved disciple, not Peter, not Mary. Mary learns she cannot cling to the old ways to see the living Christ beside her. What do I need to let go in order to move forward with the living Lord?

    1. Thank you, Elaine. Such important and helpful thoughts for us all. Your question especially resonates with me. At each new chapter of my life, Christ seems to invite another letting go from me. And not just for the sake of letting go, but in order for me to let Christ be who Christ is right now — not just who I want Christ to be. Keep sharing, Elaine! And may this holy weekend be rich with God’s presence and new life.
