When I was young, I would go camping with my dad. I remember back to a time when we hiked up Wheeler Peak in New Mexico. It was an all-day hike to the summit and back. Throughout the hike, we would take breaks to grab a snack, rest our legs, and enjoy the beauty around us whether it be the sounds of a rushing stream, chirping of birds, smell of the trees, or spectacular views.
Lectio divina is a reminder of those breaks. This discipline is a time to take a break from the business I create and allows me to rest my body, mind, emotions, and soul. It is a time to simply rest, reflect, and focus on God’s Word.

Hi John,
Thanks for this, good man. I also feel that kind of connection you describe so well — the process of lectio divina and poetic pauses in nature. I am so pleased to get to share part of the path with you, brother. Much warmth and love to you and your family.
Deep Peace,
Todd

I apologize. Not sure what happened yesterday when I produced my podcast. But the audio link should work now. Thank you for your patience, everyone.
Deep Peace,
