I am blessed by your message. My thoughts went to our homeless friends, the love feast and r4r. We are blessed THEM each time we are together. They have gifts of humility and gratitude. I would put one of them at the head of the table. It also reminds me that I need to give the gift of myself to everyone of Gods children and get rid of the false self. Thank you brother Todd
Thank you, Karen, for the comment. It is always nice to know folks are engaging God by way of the podcast – and what that’s like for you. I easily had that picture of the Love Feast with our downtown neighbors in my head as well. You are a real gift to us, Karen.
Hi folks, just wanted to let Todd know that there was a link to his lectio divina page from textweek.com and I saw it as I was preparing to preach last Sunday. In fact, I used the story of the love feast we had with R4R folks in my sermon! So we’re on the same brainwave, Karen!
