Amos 7.1-14 for Sunday, July 14
I’ve been away for a couple of weeks. It’s good to be back! Again, summer is my very busy travel season. Thank you for your patience when I am away. I haven’t prayed Lectio Divinia-style with the prophets too often. So, this week’s text is a bit strange feeling. But I trust that even when a part of the Scripture is not easily entered into, God can use even that piece of the grand story for good and growth. I’m interested in hearing how this is, or isn’t, the case for you.
Deepest Peace of Christ,

Father God, Grant me peace….that is my breath prayer
Thank you for giving me a new way to think about the scripture.
So nice to have you with me in praying with the Scripture, Janita! May your breath be prayer indeed.
